National Organic Standards Board: May 4-6
The National Organic Standards Board, which provides independent policy advice to USDA's National Organic Program, will meet May 4-6 at the Washington Plaza Hotel, 10 Thomas Circle NW, Washington, D.C. Among the items on the agenda, recommendations will be presented to the full board for a vote concerning the use or prohibition of 13 petitioned substances for the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances. Recommendations and a full agenda may be viewed at www.ams.usda.gov/nop. Comments on the recommendations and requests to make comments at the meeting may be submitted on or before April 20.
