SACATM Meeting: June 25-26

The Scientific Advisory Committee on Alternative Toxicological Methods is meeting June 25-26 at the Hilton Arlington Hotel, 950 North Stafford St., Arlington, Va. Preliminary agenda topics include the regulatory acceptance and availability of alternative test methods recommended by the Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Validation of Alternative Methods and presentations on independent peer reviews of alternative ocular safety testing methods and the status of new versions and applications of the Murine Local Lymph Node Assay. There are also planned updates on the activities of Health Canada, the Japanese Center for the Validation of Alternative Methods and the European Centre for the Validation of Alternative Methods.
