Agro-Kanesho ahead in 2006
Japanese agrochemical company Agro-Kanesho recorded consolidated sales of ¥2,800 million ($110 million) in 2006, up by 8% on the previous year. On a non-consolidated basis, sales rose by 2% to Yen9,900 million. Domestic sales were stable during the year. Overall sales growth was due mainly to higher overseas sales, particularly for the acaricide, Kanemite (acequinocyl), Agro-Kanesho says. Total exports accounted for 6% of the company's non-consolidated sales in 2006.
