Stockton agrees Timorex Gold deal in Dominican Rep

Israeli biopesticide company Stockton agreed an “official” deal with DuPont and crop protection business Westrade’s joint venture, Duwest Dominicana, to sell Stockton’s biofungicide, Timorex Gold (Melaleuca alternifolia extract), in the Dominican Republic.

It is for the control of black sigatoka (Micosphaerella fijensis) on bananas among other diseases. Timorex Gold has been sold by Duwest in the Dominican Republic for the past eight years in the organic banana sector. The biofungicide is for sale in conventional as well as organic crop farming. It holds registrations in over 30 countries, the company notes.
