Low level of illegal GMOs detected in Norway

A newly released annual monitoring and control program report from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority shows illegal content of genetically modified material (GMO) was detected in five of a total of 158 samples of food, feed and food. The results show that the occurrence of illegal GMOs in Norway is low.
