SUPERFRUIT juices maker, Zola, has announced it is expanding distribution of its products in the US through supermarket chains Safeway, Acme and ShopRite. The company, which was the first to market bottled açaí juice in the US, said that following a successful test in Safeway’s Colorado division, it is extending its range of products to 1 200 Safeway locations in 13 states. Zola said it would also roll out products in 84 Acme and 240 ShopRite stores on the US east coast. The line currently consists of açaí juice, açaí/blueberry and most recently, açaí/pomegranate – launched in March. All varieties are available in 12oz and 32oz sizes. Zola has also recently expanded its licenced product, Jamba Daily Superfruit Shots, to over 160 additional Jamba Juice locations, bringing the number of Jamba Juice stockists to nearly 500 locations.
