BPA contamination study may have used flawed methodology

A STUDY by the USA’s Breast Cancer Fund (BCF) has found that potentially harmful chemical bisphenol A (BPA) “leaches” into canned food from container linings. This is causing particular concern around Thanksgiving, according to press reports. There are hefty criticisms from some quarters regarding the methodology, but it is doubtful that consumers will listen to this before dropping canned products from their shopping lists.
