Juice or contraband onions?

CUSTOMS authorities in the Philippines have impounded two containers of smuggled Chinese red onions worth PHP0.8 million (USD19 000). This is the seventh container of smuggled onions from China seized in the past four months. This consignment was falsely declared as fruit juice. Only recently, a similar consignment, described as orange juice, was seized by Customs (FOODNEWS 26 August) .
